Steve and Jan Ripple, Founders
"I have always trusted a faith-based passion of answering the call to meet a need within the community. Crawfish Aquatics meets a great need that many individuals have by being positive, encouraging and supportive while also challenging the boundaries of physical achievement. Our Crawfish family embraces the faith-based philosophy that says 'actions speak louder than words.' The desire to return blessings, to count others as greater than oneself, to understand the power of gratitude in one's personal walk, and to selflessly sacrifice, is what fuels the energy and fulfillment of the Crawfish Aquatics experience. The most joy-filled spirit that overcomes me personally is when I get to witness the genuine, unconditional love for one another at Crawfish Aquatics." —Dr. Steven Ripple

Coaching, Athletic Development, Fulfillment of Potential: The beginning and driving force into his passionate development in the profession of coaching was training his wife Jan, a collegiate swimmer, in the sport of triathlon. Under Steve’s tutelage, she achieved national and international recognition as one of the top triathletes in the world. Competing in over twenty countries and spanning five continents, Jan held the title of U.S. Triathlete of the year, World and National Champion. Serving as coach to numerous local high school athletes along with his son Kyle and daughter Kate, Dr. Ripple continued to develop champions. Keeping children active and healthy while instilling lifelong values of success is a passion of Dr. Ripple’s and is apparent through his outreach.
