CA Timing Assignments- Volunteer Sign Up
Provide own timer: during prelims, the 400 Free, 800 Free, 1500 Free is "provide your own timer".
Team Attire:
-Shirt Colors: Thursday: choice, Friday: Fast Forward, Saturday: Red, Sunday: Black
-Swim Cap: Black CA swim cap (there will be extras for sale as needed)
-Sunday Finals: Hawaiin theme dress! Let's get the full team back for Finals!

Parent / Spectator Area:
Spectator area will be the raised bleachers side and the entire area/side of the indoor facility between the raised bleachers & the front lobby. There are no parents permitted in any of the "team/athlete designated areas; these areas will be blocked off during the meet. Outside chairs are not permitted in the Spectator areas.
Crawfish Team Seating (athletes only) assignment:
Crawfish athletes are assigned to the Bleachers by Diving Well (same as Short Course State). Emily Mayo will be our alloted "parent helper" for our team area during all sessions Fri/Sat/Sun and will have the team caps for anyone needing this or additional help.

- Thursday: 4:00pm warm up, 5:00pm start. (all other state swimmers not competing on Friday will have Thurs practice).
- Prelims, Fri/Sat/Sun: Arrive by 7:45am (athletes should be inside, at Team Area by this time). Dynamic on deck warm up at 7:50am as a group. Pool Warm up (2nd warm up)- 8:00-8:25am. Meet begins 9:00am.
- Finals, Fri & Sat: Warm up (2nd warm up)- 4:20-4:50pm. Arrive by 4:10pm. Meet begins: 5:00pm
- Finals, Sun: Warm up (2nd warm up)- 3:20-3:50pm. Arrive at 3:10pm. Meet begins: Start 4:00pm
- Sunday 1000 Warm-ups: 1:15-1:45pm/ Meet Starts 1:55pm
- Sign in events: 10 & U 200 Free & 200 IM, 400 Free, 400 IM, 800 Free, 1500 Free are sign in events (sign in closes at 8:45am or 15 min prior to the start of the session, whichever is first). Coaches will confirm & handle athlete sign ins. The Top 16 for 10 & U 200 Free and 200 IM and Top 8 in the 400 Free and the 400 IM will be swum at Finals & all others will swim during prelims session.
- Breaks during prelims: On Saturday there is a 10 minute break after the Relays before the 400 Free.
- Breaks during finals:
-Friday, after event #14, 11-12 50 Fly (5 min), after event #22, 200 Freestyle (10 min, prior to 400 Free Relay)
-Saturday, after events #34, 11-12 50 Breast (5 min), #42, 11-12 100 Fly (5 min), #52, 13-14 400 Free (10 min, prior to 400 Medley Relay)
-Sunday, after event #66, 13-14 100 Breast (5min), after event #72, 13-14 300 Back (5 min) - RELAYS:
-Relay events are timed finals (swim once).
-Always check with your coach about being on a relay team before leaving a session. If you are not swimming one session, you may be swimming in a different session- always confirm!
-14 & Under 400 Free and 400 Medley relays are Friday and Saturday during Finals.
-10 & U, 12 & U, 14 & U 200 Free and 200 Medley relays are at the end of the prelim session on Saturday & Sunday.
Meet Information for Parents from Louisiana Swimming & Meet Host:
- POOL MAP LAYOUT (parent, swimmer/team assignments)
- The thicker black lines on the map signify areas that parents will not cross. These areas are for coaches, swimmers, and officials.
- Parents will enter the pool through the main doors in the front.
- Swimmers, Coaches, and Officials will enter each day through the doors near the timing booth that faces Chimes Street (the doors next to the Crawfish assigned bleachers!)
-There will be a coaches check at this entrance; only coaches/swimmers/officials can enter at this area. - Heat Sheets will be sold from the Main Lobby (enter through the doors facing Nicholson).
- Each Team has an assigned Team Area at the meet. These areas are for SWIMMERS and coaches only.
- Locker Rooms are for SWIMMERS ONLY.
- Parents can bring tents to set up the field in front of the pool.
- Concessions, D&J Sports, Spectator Restrooms:
Concessions, D&J Sports will be set up in the front lobby (facing Nicholson) on the Spectator bleachers side. Restrooms for specators / non-athletes are also at the Scoreboard end of the facility. There will also be bathrooms available at the tennis and sand volleyball courts for parents, coaches, and officials.

- State Qualifying Times- a short course qualifying time can be used to qualify for LC State in that same event (as long as it is in the same age group they willl be in for state meet. Age on the first day of the meet determines age group for the meet.)
