Age Group Short Course State Championship (LSU)
Feb 23-26
Parent Work Assignments:
Please sign up for timing and meet marshal duties. We have been given a really fair number of responsibilities for the weekend based on the number of athletes we are bringing to the meet. We cannot pull coaches from the deck to fill these duties. Please sign up in advance and help us get this task completed by Wednesday!
- See Meet Marshall overview here. There are several teams assigned to this role each session and there will be an official to help with the start of each session and for support during the meet. This role is on the pool and a vital job to provide the best possible environment for the athletes and spectators!
- Sign up here for Lane Timing or Meet Marshall slots.
- Note: During prelims, the 14 & U 400 Free Relay, 500 Free, 1000 Free, 1650 Free is "provide your own timer". Lap Counters for these races must be other athletes.
Team Attire:
-Shirt Colors: Thursday: choice, Friday: 2022 Swim-A-Thon shirt (Fast Forward shirts), Saturday: Red, Sunday: Black
*email Coach Helen by Wednesday to request any t-shirts! helen@crawfishaquatics.com

Pool Layout / Entry & Exit points for Swimmers, Coaches, Spectators
- POOL LAYOUT/ MAP
- Facility doors by the tennis courts will be open for coaches only and not a spectator entrance.
- Athlete/Coach/Officials Entry: Side doors facing Chimes
- Parents/Spectators: enter through the main lobby doors (the doors that face Nicholson). Spectator seating is in the raised bleachers along the main pool. Tents can be set up outside but no chairs are permitted inside the facility. There are NO parents/spectators on the pool deck unless working as a timer, Marshall, Official. This includes the team areas. Goal of the deck restrictions is to provide a safe and working deck for the athletes.
- Crawfish Team Seating (athletes only) assignment: All teams have assigned seating areas for athletes- TBA along with a full facility layout of team/athlete seating assignments and spectator areas. In addition to the Crawfish coaches (we will have 8 coaches on deck), we will have Emily Mayo serving as the "parent helper" for our team area (for all sessions).
- Front Lobby Areas: D&J Sports and Concessions will be available in the front lobby area.
