Mike the Tiger is coming on Friday Night for Finals during Warm-ups! He will visit each team during warm ups to take a team pic with each group!
Team Seating: Crawfish swimmers bleachers will be the large bleachers by the diving well. Be sure to pack extra towels, sweatshirts, socks, tennis shoes!
- The pool deck/ team bleacher areas are for athletes, coaches, meet officials/workers only. Locker Rooms are for SWIMMERS ONLY. Restrooms for spectators are outside by the tennis courts (exit the door right by our team area). D&J Sports and Concessions are in in the front lobby area.

- Two pools for prelims: The meet will be run in a girls pool and boys pool for all prelim sessions. On Sat/Sun morning, all relays will be run in the girls pool.
- Thursday: 4:00pm warm up, 5:00pm start. 1650 Free and 14 & U 400 Free Relay (all other state swimmers not competing on Thursday have practice- see schedule).
- Prelims, Fri/Sat/Sun: Arrive by 7:30am. Warm up (1st warm up)- 7:45-8:15am. Meet begins 9:00am.
- Finals, Fri & Sat: Arrive by 3:45pm. Warm up (1st warm up)- 4:00-4:25pm. Meet begins: 5:00pm
- Finals, Sun: Arrive by 2:50pm. Warm up (1st warm up)- 3:00-3:25pm. Meet begins: 4:00pm
- Sunday 1000 Warm-ups: following relays at prelims, tentative time 1:00pm. Session starts at 1:55pm.
- Sign in events: 10 & U 200 Free & 200 IM, 500 Free, 400 IM, 1000 Free, 1650 Free are sign in events (sign in closes at 8:45am or 15 min prior to the start of the session, whichever is first). Coaches will confirm & handle athlete sign ins. The Top 16 for 10 & U 200 Free and 200 IM and Top 8 in the 500 Free and the 400 IM will be swum at Finals & all others will swim during prelims session.
- RELAYS:
-Relay events are timed finals (swim once). There will be a 10 minute break following individual events, before relay events begin.
-Always check with your coach about being on a relay team before leaving a session. If you are not swimming one session, you may be swimming in a different session- always confirm! Most scenarios have been discussed so your athlete has an idea if they are on a relay or could potentially be on a relay.
-14 & Under 400 Free Relay is Thursday evening and 400 Medley relay is Friday at the end of prelims.
-14 & Under 200 Mixed Relay is Sunday at the end of finals.
-10 & U, 12 & U, 14 & U 200 Free and 200 Medley relays are at the end of the prelim session on Saturday & Sunday.
MEET TIMELINES
-Always considered tentative! This is the Girls Pool Timeline- the boys event will start at the same time that is listed for the matching girls event to start.
- Both pools will follow the girls pool. For example Heat one of event 3 will start and then heat one of event four will get start. The boys will wait if needed to be on track with the girls.
- Since both pools will move together, you are receiving girls pool timelines. The boys pool will follow these. There are also finals timelines.
- All girls events will go in the girls pool (main pool, all weekend) and all boys events will go in the scoreboard pool/ boys pool.
- We will make sure there are 20 minutes between each event cycle as we move through the meet in both the prelims and finals.

After 4:30pm, parents/spectators can park in any lot freely, before 4:30 will need a $10 commuter day pass. (link below)

On Friday & Saturday, parents/spectators must park in Lot 108. (Shown as the Black Lot on Map 1).

IMPORTANT: Louisiana Swimming will be providing and staffing a swimmer drop-off along West Chimes. Meet Officials will be helping direct swimmers into the facility. Parents, please use of this drop off HERE before proceeding to park in Lot 108. Swimmers NEED TO BE READY TO GET OUT OF CAR PROMPTLY upon pulling into this area to help the flow!

- "Timed Finals" events are events that are swum once (these events are notated with "T/F" on the Event Order document).
Individual events that are TF format will have the top 8 swimmers competing at night with all other swimmers in the event swimming in the morning, but the results from both sessions are combined for the final ranking of the event. *Note- for the 10 & U 200 IM & 200 Free, the Top 16 will swim at night as a timed finals event. All events 400yds + will be Top 8 at finals. - Prelim/Final Format events are swum at the morning prelim session, with the Top 16 finishers returning in the afternoon to compete again. The event is ranked and scored based on the Finals swims.
- Thursday Night: 1650 free (timed finals) and 14 & U 400 Free Relay. All are provide own timer.
- Friday:
-Prelims: All events are "Prelims/Finals format" with the exception of the 10 & Under 200 Free and 14 & U 400 IM and relays which are "Timed Finals". Top 16 for the 10 & U 200 free and Top 8 for the 400 IM will at swim at night in Finals with all other entries in the morning.
